Rail access

Tours is served by 2 TGV stations: Tours Centre in the heart of the city and Saint-Pierre-des-Corps located 5 minutes from the city centre. It takes about 15 minutes by bus to get to the IUT from the city centre station and about 30 minutes from the Saint-Pierre-des-Corps station.

Coming to IUT (place of the conference)

The site of the IUT which hosts us is located in Tours Nord (29 rue du Pont-Volant, Tours).

The IUT is served by bus line 2, which comes from the train station. Line 12 will take you right next to the IUT (Belle Isle stop + about 5 minutes walk) from the Bords de Loire (Porte de Loire stop).

Close to the IUT

Adjacent to the IUT you will find a university restaurant and a cafeteria managed by the CROUS.

However, there is no restaurant in the immediate vicinity of the IUT. However, a small Auchan is open 5 minutes' walk from the IUT.

Otherwise, you will have to take public transport or the car to reach the restaurants in the city centre or in Tours Nord.
